129001 trying to save an OLQ report

Issue/Introduction

When trying to save an OLQ report, the following error message is issued:-

129001 Directory request error 034 – USER047 NOT FOUND

Environment

Release: All supported releases.
Component: OLQ.

Cause

There is no user definition in the dictionary being used to save report definitions. When a user tries to save an OLQ report, that user must be defined in the dictionary being used for saving such reports. The dictionary used is the one specified in the sysgen OLQ statement ….

Note: if optional bit 69 is set, the user’s current dictionary setting is used.

Note also that the “user” referred here is the user defined in IDD and not the central security user definition defined in OCF. 

Resolution

Add the user to the relevant dictionary in IDD.
