Issue/Introduction

MICS 14.4 rejects SMF records after an upgrade to IBM MQ 9.4. Receive error message MQS00110W UNKNOWN IBM WEBSPHERE MQ VERSION/RELEASE 94 ENCOUNTERED. The log indicates that the highest MQ version known to MICS is 93, resulting in rejected input records.

Resolution

To ensure MICS 14.4 compatibility with IBM MQ Version 9.4, apply the following PTFs:

LU14381: This PTF specifically for MICS MQSERIES ANALYZER 14.4 to enable compatibility with MQ Series 9.4.
LU16083: This PTF for MICS MQSERIES ANALYZER to support MQ versions 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3 for MQ 9.4 series compatibility
