Thread Terminator for DB2 for z/OS
Issue/Introduction
Not authorized to use the ZPARM options of Thread Terminator for Db2 for z/OS (PTT) to change setting on a production Db2 system.
Is there a way to secure the ZPARM side of this and retain the use of other PTT?
Resolution
To block update access against DSNZPARM in PTT remove access to PTTPLN06=XXXXXXXX Manage DB2 Default Group.
By removing that access the user will not be able to update the ZPARMs and Active Logs.
