Does DLP support the query rewrite oracle feature?

Issue/Introduction

While running the Update Readiness Tool, it was identified that  query_rewrite_enabled was set to true with a recommended value of false. What is the impact of leaving this to true. 

Environment

Oracle 19c
Oracle 21c

Cause

The Update Readiness Tool queries the value of this setting and returns a warning if it is set to true. 

Resolution

The Oracle Query Rewrite feature is not certified by DLP. 

 

 

Additional Information

Even if this feature were to improve performance. it would be better for that performance issue to be observed and fixed within the product.
