Cannot detach datastore from EOL SAN

Issue/Introduction

Seeing the following error message when trying to remove the NFS share from vCenter UI

"The resource 'Datastore Name: ######### VMFS uuid: ########-########-####-############' is in use. Cannot unmount volume 'Datastore Name: ######### VMFS uuid: ########-########-####-############' because "file system is busy". Correct the problem and retry the operation."

Environment

ESXi 8.0 U3

vCenter 8.0 U3

Cause

The NFS datastore has become "inaccessible".  

Seen in the vCenter servers vpxd logs

Resolution

Reboot one of the ESXi hosts and immediately remove the NFS datastore.
