Issue/Introduction

Connecting ConnectALL to a Clarity environment with SSO enabled results in a 401 error in the logs, even when the service account is configured to bypass SSO in Clarity.

Cause

The 'bypass SSO' checkbox in Clarity applies to browser-based logins; API-based connections like ConnectALL require token-based authentication when SSO is enabled.

Resolution

Configure the connection in ConnectALL using API-specific credentials.

  1. Navigate to the Clarity Connection screen in ConnectALL.
  2. Enter the Clarity Username in the designated field.
  3. Enter the ClientID associated with the service account.
  4. Enter the Token generated for the service account.
  5. Leave the Password field blank.
  6. Save the connection and test.
