Issue/Introduction

VIP users are not deleted by the Automatically delete users policy in VIP Manager.

Resolution

• The Last Activity date is used to determine when a user will be deleted, not the Last Validated date. The user will be deleted when that value exceeds the # of days in the settings.
• The policy deletes only users in an ACTIVE state. Disabled and locked users are not deleted. (contact VIP support if assistance with mass user enablement is required)
• No credentials can be assigned to the user. Additional information about the deletion policy can be found here. 
• The deletion job occurs nightly. Wait 24 hours after making policy changes for the cleanup to take effect. 

Note: VIP deletes up to 50,000 users per day.
