Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

From the VMware Site Recovery UI, you see the following error message:

<VLSR-URL>: Cannot retrieve incoming replication issues: Failed to serialize response

Environment

VMware vSphere Replication 9.0.x +

VMware Live Recovery 9.0.x +

Cause

This error is typically seen if there are stale VM replication entries in the vSphere Replication vpostgres database.

These stale VM replications entries are created by force stopping a VM replication.

Resolution

Open up a support request with Broadcom's VMware Live Site Recovery team for further assistance as the resolution involves making database changes.
