Discover Scans not visible in Enforce after upgrade to DLP 25.1 MP1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading DLP to 25.1, users are no longer able to see Discover Scans listed under Manage > Discover Scanning > Discover Targets.


The default Administrator account can still see the scans.

Environment

Symantec Data Loss Prevention 25.1, 25.1 MP1

Resolution

  1. In the Enforce Console, navigate to System > Login Management > Roles
  2. Select the role that is assigned to the user
  3. On the Server Management tab, remove the check mark next to 'edit all'


  4. Change any of the Edit options to 'View Only' . For example: Change the option for Audit Logs, from 'Edit' to 'View Only'.
    This is needed as 'edit all' will reassign itself if nothing is set to 'view only'. 



  5. Save the role. 

This issue will be addressed in a future release.
