Issue/Introduction

When a File Transfer (JOBF) is part of a Workflow (JOBP), a problem occurs when restarting the JOBF after it has been aborted.

• Expected Behavior: Restarting an aborted JOBF should resume the transfer and update to the correct status upon completion without impacting the agent.

• Actual Behavior: The JOBF execution remains stuck in an "Active" or "Transferring" status. In some instances, this state leads to the entire AS400 agent stopping/crashing.

Environment

AS400 Agent 24.4.x

Cause

This behavior is due to a product defect identified under Defect ID: DE183864.

Resolution

The issue has been resolved. To fix this problem, please upgrade the AS400 Agent to one of the following versions (or higher):

• AS400 Agent 24.4.5

• AS400 Agent 26.1.0
