Inconsistent Custom Attributes Display for Virtual Machines in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

Custom attributes removed from the source vCenter Server continue to appear on objects in Aria Operations.

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

This is expected behavior. Aria Operations retains custom attributes and their last known values for historical tracking purposes until the parent Virtual Machine object is permanently deleted from the Aria Operations inventory.

Resolution

No configuration changes are necessary as the system is operating as designed.
