Resolution

The standalone utility runs against your Web Viewer 12.1 databases and exports selected assets to XML files that can be saved for future use with Web Viewer r14. Exported assets include favorites, export rules, repository definitions, directory definitions, preferences, roles, users, and profiles.

Please note that this utility provides the export portion of the migration process only. The corresponding OM Web Viewer r14 import capability is planned for a future delivery. Customers should run the export utility while their Web Viewer 12.1 environment is still available and retain the exported XML files for later use.

Customers should run the utility against each Web Viewer 12.1 database that contains assets they want to preserve.
