Dashboard report scheduling for multiple email recipients

Issue/Introduction

You need to schedule a Dashboard Designer/UIM BI report to be sent to multiple email addresses simultaneously.

However, the Dashboard scheduling interface accepts only a single email address format and does not allow a comma-separated or semicolon-separated list of addresses.

Environment

DX UIM - 23.4.x
Dashboard Designer (through DX UIM 23.4.5)
UIM BI (DX UIM 23.4.6 and higher)

 

Resolution

To send a scheduled dashboard report to multiple people using a single schedule, use an email Distribution List (DL). Work with your Mail/IT Administrator to create a Distribution List (e.g., [email protected]) that includes all the required recipient email addresses, and then schedule the report to send to the distribution list address.
