Administrators may usually logon to VIP Manager through local Manager IdP URL which uses local Active Directory credentials. But if the local Manager IdP is unavailable, the administrator may attempt to logon to the VIP Manager cloud URL and need to request a temporary password. However, the email response is that "No temporary password is available. Please contact an Administrator."
Administrator group policy may be preventing access to VIP Manager through direct cloud URL sign-on.
This policy ensures VIP Administrators access VIP Manager only through an Active Directory authentication.
**Note: If the administrator is a member of any group with this policy enabled, it will prevent the administrator from requesting a temporary password; even if they are a member of another group that does allow direct sign-on.
For access to VIP Manager while the local Manager IdP service is unavailable and request a temporary password, the administrator must be a member of the Super Administrator group or other authorized administrator group in VIP Manager.
To check/modify VIP Administrator Group policies, go to VIP Manager > Account > Manage Administrator Groups
