The issue is due to the group's "Add items of type" configuration.
When a group is configured with "Add items of type: Device" and a sub-rule for interfaces (with "Include Children" off), the group contains devices and ports. However, the DX NetOps Inventory | Interfaces view only displays items that are primary members of the selected group. If the interfaces are only present as children of the device members, they are not registered as primary members for the interface-specific inventory filter.
To make the group effective for Interface Inventory and Dashboards, the group must be configured to add Interfaces as primary members while maintaining the device scope.
Note: If the group depends on another user-created group, it may take multiple sync cycles (up to 1 minute per cycle) to align membership, as there is no specific order for group run rules.
'Include the children of managed items' option will affect the results on the dashboard.
