All jobs on a newly installed WA Agent fail with insufficient privileges error.

Issue/Introduction

All command jobs on a newly installed WA Agent fail with the following error:

 

CAUAJM_I_40245 EVENT: CHANGE_STATUS STATUS: FAILURE JOB: xxxxxxxx.0150.110 MACHINE: yyyyyyyy EXITCODE: 1314 

<Insufficient privileges>

User running the job (owner filed in the job definition) is a member of the local Administrators group on the Windows Agent and UAC is not enabled on the Windows Agent.

 

Cause

Problem was caused by WA Agent service running under a domain account.

Environment

WAAE 11.3.6 on AIX, WA Agent 11.3 on Windows 2012

Resolution

Modify the WA Agent service to run under the local system account and restart the WA Agent service.
