Our additional questions regarding the current information:

a  Does the FTPX DEBUG output go to /LOG?

b. Is the FTPX parameter DEBUG=80 the only activation value?

c  Which NetMaster situations require issuing F NETMSSI,FTPX DEBUG=80?

Environment

OS:  z/OS.

Resolution

The answers follow:

1  The trace messages generated by the exit are written using WTO with ROUTCDE=(11). They will appear in the JESYSMSG data set and in SYSLOG.

2  To enable exit tracing, use: F NETMSSI,FTPX DEBUG=80

To disable exit tracing, use: F NETMSSI,FTPX DEBUG=00

3  The FTPX parameter and command are used to trace processing in the NetMaster FTP exit. The exit is called by the IBM FTP server. The server

exit used by NetMaster is called FTPOSTPR.  The FTPX parameter and command will only be used at the direction of the NetMaster Support team.
