Fails to add VMware Aria Automation endpoint in ServiceNow with Error: "Entered details are invalid [ Please verify Host Url / Username / Password or Mid Server status (if Mid Server is required)]"

Issue/Introduction

Attempts to add a VMware Aria Automation endpoint in ServiceNow fail. The process is rejected in the user interface with the following error message: Entered details are invalid [ Please verify Host Url / Username / Password or Mid Server status (if Mid Server is required)]

Environment

VCF Automation 9.x
ITSM Service Now Plugin 9.x

Cause

The failure is caused by the ServiceNow Mid Server status toggling between "Up" and "Down" or remaining offline.
Since the Mid Server is unavailable, ServiceNow cannot validate the endpoint details.

Resolution

ServiceNow team should verify the MID Server status and connectivity from their end.
Once the MID Server is confirmed to be operational, retry adding the VMware Aria Automation endpoint.
