Xtraction Dashboard Export to Excel Generates Corrupted File

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to export an Xtraction dashboard to Excel, the process generates a corrupted file (typically small in size, around 2.2 KB). The following error is captured in the Xtraction logs during the failure:

• Xtraction.Db.DataException: A record could not be loaded from the Document table
• System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range

The failure occurs intermittently and may be limited to specific dashboards while others work correctly.

Ivanti Xtraction version 2019.1.0822.02

Resolution

Xtraction 2019.x has been EOS since 2024. Upgrade Xtraction to the latest version as it may contain some fixes to resolve this export problem.
