Issue/Introduction

• During the deployment validation via the VCF Installer, the following error occurs:

There are more than one ([vmkx, vmkx]) VM Kernel Adapters configured on ESX [FQDN]

Environment

VCF Installer 9.1

Cause

This validation error occurs because having multiple VMkernel adapters (vmk) configured on the ESX host is not supported during the initial VCF environment deployment.

Resolution

To proceed with the deployment, ensure that only vmk0 is configured on the target ESX hosts. Please remove any additional VMkernel adapters and re-run the validation.
