CEM Tomcat - Problem with enqueues / deadlock on MAPDB

Issue/Introduction

Encounter deadlocks or enqueue issues on the MAPDB, preventing access via the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Symptoms include the error message CEMR024E unable to open map db mapdb and org.sqlite.SQLiteException (unable to open database file) in the Tomcat logs. The Tomcat task owns an exclusive lock but remains in a wait state for an exclusive lock on the resource CEM_LOCK_FOR_MAPDB.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, receive and apply apar LT20396.
Follow the HOLDDATA instructions provided within the APAR to validate the fix.
