ADPACOPY runs slowly under Telon 4.1

Issue/Introduction

Why does ADPACOPY run so slowly under CA Telon release 4.1?  How may I resolve this?

Cause

In release 4.1 and prior releases, ADPACOPY is not LE-compliant. Every time ADPACOPY calls either the Panvalet (ADUCPANA) or Librarian (ADUCLIBA) interface program, an enclave is started. This causes a large amounts of overheard, which causes ADPACOPY to run very slowly.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, please upgrade to Telon release 5.x The release 5.x of  Telon version of ADPACOPY is LE-compliant, so it runs more efficiently.
