License Server Connectivity to VCF Operations is Not Connected

Issue/Introduction

• A new license server was deployed and registered in Business Services Console. This license server showed Registration Status "Registered", but Connectivity to VCF Operations "Not Connected"
• A new OTK was generated when deploying the license server.
• There are license assignments in progress that never complete in the Manage > Licensing > License & Registration page
• Periodically, an error is seen that says Licenses could not be synchronized with vCenters in the Manage > Licensing > License & Registration page.

Cause

The License Server was deployed with an incorrect IP address during the OVA customization.

Resolution

Deploy a new License Server using the steps from Add and Register an Additional License Server

Note: If licenses were deployed to the License Server that is being replaced, use the steps in Remove a License from a License Server and the Respective VCF Operations Instance
