Issue/Introduction
You observe that when you update the Rally PI field in Rally, ConnectAll automatically changes the Jira description format. This occurs even when no direct changes are made to the description field itself. Additionally, you may find that manual changes made to the description in Rally do not sync to Jira after this unexpected modification occurs.

Cause
This issue is caused by a product defect in version 4.0.6 where a specific scenario triggers an update to the description field during the synchronization of other fields like the PI planning field.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in release 4.2 and higher. See for steps to download this release.
You should upgrade your ConnectAll instance to version 4.2 to resolve this behavior and ensure that description formats remain unchanged during field synchronizations.
