Stretching vSAN cluster in VCF9 management domain is not possible

Issue/Introduction

• Hardware has been provisioned in secondary site

• The stretch action fails with this error - 

The object 'vim.dvs.DistributedVirtualPortgroup:dvportgroup-xxxx' has already been deleted or has not been completely created

Environment

VCF 9.0.0.0

Cause

• A previous stretch action had failed
• A subsequent unstretch action appeared to complete successfully, however remnants were found to remain on the vSphere UI
• Manual cleanup performed on the vSphere UI
• Remnants in SDDC Manager database were not addressed, this is causing the issue

Resolution

Open case with Broadcom Customer Support to have the issue resolved
