Administrators may want to grant end users the ability to view and release their own quarantined messages, but prevent them from permanently deleting messages from the Email Quarantine interface.

You can control end-user permissions and disable the delete functionality by modifying the user quarantine settings within the administration console.
Follow these steps to update the visibility settings:
Log in to the Symantec Email Security.cloud portal.
Navigate to Platform > User Quarantine Settings > Visibility.
Locate the option: "Users can delete messages within the Email Quarantine interface".
Uncheck this option to remove the delete permission.
Click Save (or Apply) to enforce the changes.
Note: Once this setting is disabled, end users will retain the ability to view and release messages from their quarantine, but the option to delete will be hidden or disabled.
