Issue/Introduction

- Create a content library in the tenant portal

- Failed while attempting to upload an image to the content library in the tenant:

"Cannot create content library item [id = xxx, name=yyy] because the item size of zzz bytes cannot be accommodated in the storage classes."

- Failed while attempting to upload an image to the provider portal.

"You do not have permission to upload to [Content Library Name] content library"

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation Automation 9.0

Resolution

1. There are two types of content libraries: tenant and provider. Providers may only upload images to provider-type libraries, and tenants may only upload to tenant-type libraries.

2. Before uploading an image to a tenant-type content library, please verify that the tenant's storage class has sufficient available space. This can be checked under:
Manage & Govern -> Regions -> Storage Classes

3. To confirm the actual storage space for these storage classes in vSphere, navigate to:
Policies and Profiles -> VM Storage Policies -> [Storage Class Name] -> Storage Compatibility
