Issue/Introduction

An rare and intermittent signature verification failure may occur while decrypting files using PGP Command Line version 11.0.1 and above.

The following error may be displayed:

3036: bad signature

 

Resolution

This issue is resolved in PGP Command Line 11.5.2 and above. 

Upgrade to a version containing PGP 11.5.2 to prevent intermittent false signature verification failures.
