Gen Toolset under Azure VDI performs slowly, keeps unloading and stopping

Issue/Introduction

Performance is slow when using the Toolset on an Azure VDI instance. For example: 

1. Adding attributes or changing notes takes several minutes to update.
2. The Toolset unloads or crashes when an update takes too long.

Environment

Gen 8.6 toolset under Microsoft Azure

Resolution

Microsoft Azure is not officially supported for any Gen development software or Gen developed applications.
The Azure software is not included in the Gen 8.6 Technical Requirements Third-Party Software Version listing, and the Support Policy for Virtualization Systems applies to this environment per General Comments.
To diagnose performance, a third-party tool would be required as there are no internal Gen Toolset analysis tools for this purpose. Consider using Azure Monitor to monitor the virtual machine performance.
