When you run an SOS health check in SDDC Manager, a YELLOW status is reported for some ESXi hosts.
In the sos.log file, you see the following warning:
YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.ssss+0000 WARNING [vcf_sos] [esxihelper.py::is_license_applied_as_expected::186::is_license_applied_as_expectedThread0] Licence applied to esxi node ######### does not matched with license provide by VCF license manager
VMware SDDC Manager 4.x
VMware SDDC Manager 5.x
The license applied to the ESXi host is not registered in the SDDC Manager.
To resolve this issue, add the ESXi license key to SDDC Manager.
For detailed instructions, refer to the documentation: Add a Component License Key in the SDDC Manager UI
