Issue/Introduction

The app-accelerator-server application, located in the system organization/system space, is sometimes found on customer foundations and can lead to a large spike in gorouter logs. The app is a remnant from a prior version of Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) within Tanzu Application Service (TAS)

Cause

The app-accelerator-server is leftover from the previous backstage feature. It is likely producing high log volume because part of what it needs is no longer present.

Resolution

The application can be safely deleted from customer foundations. It is a remnant of a previous feature, and users who opted into this feature were previously asked to delete it manually.
