Issue/Introduction

Question:

We are using ACF2 SYSPLEX XCF ACF2 and are moving to a new sysplex, what configuration changes are needed to accommodate new sysplex?

Answer:

The XCF communication function is used to provide a way for the customer to route CA ACF2

operator commands to all other CA ACF2 systems in the SYSPLEX.

The only SYSPLEX XCF configuration changes required for ACF2 involve the ACF2

GSO SYSPLEX record and verifying the proper structure(XCF GROUP NAME) and member

names(MEMBER NAME) are specified on both systems in the new SYSPLEX. This would

be done by doing a TSO SHOW SHOW SYSPLEX and listing the ACF2 GSO SYSPLEX on

each system, for example:

ACF
SET CONTROL(GSO)
LIST SYSPLEX

Component: ACF2MS
