Issue/Introduction

The passwords that are saved in the IM DB are in clear-text format.

This is something a security concern

Environment

IGA 14.5 CHF1

Resolution

If we are configuring the Global Proxy (Configurations ->  Configure Global Proxy)

The password set is saved in clear text in IM_ENVIRONMENT_JDBC_LD -> SECTION_NAME = 'misc'.

This issue has been addressed by the Engineering team, and they provided an HF for this issue, which should be applied on top of IGA 14.5 CHF2.

Please raise a support ticket for the HF.
