AD Provisioning Fails After Installing IGA 15 CCS Fix Pack 1

Issue/Introduction

After installing iga-ccs-15.0.0-156-fixpack1.zip, Active Directory provisioning operations initiated from Identity Manager (IM) or Provisioning Manager fail to propagate to AD.

Environment

Identity Manager 15
C++ Connector Server (CCS) 15
Java Connector Server (JCS) 15

Cause

The issue can occur when im_ccs is registered in Microsoft Application Verifier (appverif.exe).

Application Verifier can interfere with CCS execution and cause connector instability or crashes.

Resolution

Verify whether im_ccs is registered in Application Verifier and remove it if present.

Steps

1. On the Windows External Connector server, launch:

C:\Windows\System32\appverif.exe

2. In Application Verifier, check the list of registered applications.
3. Look for:

 

im_ccs

4. If im_ccs is listed:
   • Remove the entry
   • Save the changes
5. Restart the CCS service if necessary.
6. Retry the IM operation:
   • Refresh AD account
   • Modify AD account
   • Provision updates to AD
