Issue/Introduction

The VCF Operations platform connects to the VCF Business Service Console to manage off-premises licensing and cloud-hosted tenant services.
If environmental or network-related factors interrupt the connection, VCF Operations may lose connectivity with the VMware Business Console.
Currently, VCF Operations lacks a dedicated alert to identify or proactively notify administrators about VMware Business Console connection failures.

VCF Operations 9.x

Cause

Environmental issues such as proxy outages, network interruptions, DNS resolution failures, firewall changes, or proxy authentication problems can disrupt connectivity between VCF Operations and the VMware Business Console.

Resolution

Engineering is currently working on introducing a new alert capability to monitor the VMware Business Console connection failures.
This enhancement is planned for inclusion in an upcoming release.
