Issue/Introduction

The crash triggered when bmhook attempting a `kmalloc-64` allocation from the corrupted freelist. This freelist (kmalloc-64 allocation) owned by Symantec Data Center Security (DCS) sisips ProcessList_ structure.

Environment

RHEL 8.x

Cause

Race condition in sisips driver's processList_ structure where freed memory's freelist structure has been corrupted by use after free.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in KMOD -10.0.8-2789.
