During Smarts NCM upgrade we are seeing multiple duplicate entries to the pb_hba.conf file.

Issue/Introduction

We have noticed that during upgrades to Smarts NCM 25.4.7 that duplicate entries are being added into the pb_hba.conf file.  The entries are correct but are not needed because they are already present and are duplicate to already existing entries.

Environment

Smarts NCM 25.4.x

 

Cause

DR server is adding duplicate entries due to bug

Resolution

The issue is cosmetic and can be safely ignored or you can carefully remove the duplicate, unnecessary entries at the bottom.

This will be fixed in a future release of NCM after 25.4.7 and can be tracked by DE193645 under issues resolved.
