New features can be found in Ops Manager UI Foundation Core, but not Classic Experience

Issue/Introduction

Users may find that they can access some new features in the Ops Manager UI Foundation Core; however, these features are not available when switching to Classic Experience.

For example, the Product Deploy Parallelism option was introduced in Ops Manager 3.3 to improve the speed of apply changes.

In the Ops Manager UI (Foundation Core), this option can be found under Manage → Capabilities → Director Config.

While in the Ops Manager UI (Classic Experience), the Product Deploy Parallelism option is not available under the BOSH tile → Director Config.

Cause

It is a strategic decision to discontinue adding new features to the Classic UI. New features will be added only to the Foundation Core UI. The Classic Ops Manager UI will eventually be retired.

Resolution

To configure new features, switch to Foundation Core by clicking the Switch to Foundation Core button located at the top right of the Ops Manager UI.
