Issue/Introduction

  • Telegraf agent status is reported as "unhealthy" in the Aria Operations UI.
  • The `ucp-telegraf` service remains in a "running" status on the Guest OS.
  • Affected systems are typically Windows Server using the Spanish regional language.

Environment

8.18.x

Cause

The issue is caused by a payload encoding failure. When the MEPS request payload contains Spanish characters (e.g., **Ã, ñ, é**), the Cloud Proxy is unable to successfully process the metric transmission. This leads to an "HTTP 408 (Request Timeout)" error when the agent attempts to send metrics, causing the UI to mark the agent as unhealthy.

Resolution

This is a known issue and is scheduled to be fixed in a future update/release of Aria Operations.
