VCF 9.1 upgrade binaries do not show up in VCF Operations 9.0

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to upgrade to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.1, users may find that while the version 9.1 option is available in the SDDC Manager "Binary Management" dropdown menu, no binaries are displayed for any category (Upgrade, Patch, or Install).

Environment

VCF 9.0, VCF 9.1

Cause

VCF Operations must be manually upgraded to version 9.1 via a PAK file, followed by an SDDC Manager. It is then possible to configure the software depot.

Resolution

VCF Operations must be upgraded first using a PAK file from the Broadcom Support Portal. Once the VCF Operations upgrade is complete, return to the VCF Ops Lifecycle UI and continue with the SDDC manager upgrade and then configure the new software depot. The remaining components can be installed and upgraded following this.
