Issue/Introduction

How to limit the Web Agent Log and Trace file size and the number of

logs being generated ?

Environment

Web Agent 12.52SP1CR10 on Apache 2.4 on Linux

Resolution

Here are 4 Agent Configuration Object (ACO) parameters that govern log

rotation and size:

1. LogFileSize: Specifies (in megabytes) the maximum size of a log
   file.

2. LogFilesToKeep: Specifies the number of CA Single Sign-On agent log
   files that are kept

3. TraceFileSize: Specifies (in megabytes) the maximum size of a trace
file. The Web Agent creates a new file when this limit is reached.

4. TraceFilesToKeep: Specifies the number of CA Single Sign-On agent
trace log files that are kept

Please recycle the Web Agent for changes to take affect after
modifying the ACO.
