Unable auto schedule Master Project - error NJS-0401: Execution of job failed

Issue/Introduction

Why am I unable to run auto schedule against a master project?  The auto schedule job fails with an error of NJS-0401: Execution of job failed.

If I attempt to auto schedule in the Clarity Gantt view the sub projects are showing as locked or read only - however if I open the sub project there is no mention of that project being locked.

Cause

The 'Time Slice' job may be running when the auto schedule attempt is made.

Resolution

Set the 'Time Slice' job incompatible with the scheduled 'Autoschedule Project' job so they wont attempt to run at the same time.
