Existing Exec SQL functionality erratic in Plex 7.2

Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

I am migrating our application from Plex 4.5 to Plex 7.2. Its target platform is WinC and ODBC Server.

When using the Exec SQL statement to return a "select count" statement it sometimes returns the correct value but erratically returns an invalid value of zero even though the view status is successful and the sql statement has been executed correctly.
 
I have this code throughout our system and it was always dependable and is in accordance with CA Plex syntax - why is it not reliable now?

Environment:  

All supported Windows Operating Systems and SQL Server databases

Cause: 

The developer had deployed his EXE with the wrong Plex 7.2 runtime objects in some of his environments (he copied them from C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\plex\7.2

Resolution:

Deploy your Plex application EXE with the correct Plex runtimes from C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\plex\7.2\bin
