Configuring SFTP Backup settings for VCF Automation fails with LCMVMSP10035

Issue/Introduction

• curl -k https://[PRIMARY_VIP]:30006/status output shows: "failed to open SFTP session: ssh: unexpected packet in response to channel open"
• Manual backups are successful and there is no password or ssh connectivity problem.

 

Cause

A backup lock exists

Resolution

• Check for a backup lock by following the steps in Backup or restore fails because it's already running
• Clear the backup lock using article 430312 and attempt the configuration again.
