Flapping "Group population" health and efficiency alerts in VCF Operations

Issue/Introduction

VCF Operations version 9.0.x frequently generates and cancels "Group population health is degraded" and "Group population efficiency is degraded" alerts .

Symptoms include:

• Alerts appear on the VCF Operations Self Monitoring object.

• Alerts auto-cancel within one collection cycle (5 minutes).

• Disabling the alerts in the active policy does not stop them from triggering.

Cause

This is a known issue in version 9.0.x where internal monitoring logic incorrectly triggers group health alerts and ignores policy-based disabling.

Resolution
