Are JMS Metrics Supported in APM 10.3?

Issue/Introduction

Introduction: 

 During the APM 10.3 Internal Training, Support discovered that the 10.x JMS Metric functionality had changed in APM 10.3. This Knowledge Document covers

 this change and how to remedy if the old metrics are desired for dashboards.

 Question: 

   Will my APM 10.0-10.2 JMS metrics work in 10.3?

 Environment:  

   APM 10.x

 Answer: 

   No they will not. The metrics were modified and greatly enhanced with new functionality.

 Those that wish to use the old JMS metrics for existing dashboards may continue to use the old PBD which are simple PBD entries with no tracers or nameformatters.

 However, the old PBD would be supported as per our custom PBD support policy.

 

 Note: The Legacy Agent Mode is no longer supported in 10.3 for JMS Metrics.
