NSX TEP IP Pool Not Visible in the new cluster creation workflow

Issue/Introduction

 

• In VCF 9, the new cluster creation workflow from vCenter doesn't show the IP pool in the list.
• No IP Pool was found in NSX.

 

Environment

VMware NSX 9.X

Cause

The issue with the list was caused by a trailing or leading space within the IP address pool name.

This syntax error prevented the system from correctly identifying the pool, leading to the display or retrieval failure.

Resolution

• The IP address pool name must be a continuous string; spaces are not supported.
  
  
• Please ensure that pool names do not contain leading, trailing, or internal whitespace to avoid list population errors.
