vSAN ESA snapshots cannot be deleted. Error "General vSAN error. Error while running object manager task"

Issue/Introduction

• VM snapshots taken by vSAN Data Protection Appliance report error when deleting.
  
  
• "General vSAN error. Error while running object manager task" reported in vCenter when Delete vSAN Snapshot task is performed in vSAN Data Protection Appliance.

Cause

This vSAN cluster had previously configured vSAN Data Protection with immutability snapshots and cleanup of vSAN Data Protection was done but this had not completely removed the immutability snapshots.
