Issue/Introduction

Question: 

Can I use a PDSE (Partitioned Data Set Extended) with the CA Telon Application Generator product?

 

Environment:  

CA Telon Application Generator, release 4.0 SP02 and above

 

Answer: 

Beginning with Release 4.0 Service Pack 2 (genlevel 0209), the CA Telon resolve utility ADPACOPY resolves copybooks from PDSEs in addition to PDSs, CA Panvalet and CA Librarian files. 

 

Additional Information:

You may not, however, import directly from or export directly to a PDSE.

CA Telon Application Generator requires that CA Telon source be imported from or exported to a PDS with a blocksize of 6160 or smaller.
