Expected release timeline for iDash bundled with Apache Tomcat 10

Issue/Introduction

Customers have inquired about the availability of a new iDash release that includes Apache Tomcat 10 as a bundled component. Many organizations have mandatory currency requirements or security policies that require upgrading from Tomcat 9 to Tomcat 10 and prefer the bundled package over a manual upgrade.

Product: iDash Workload Automation
Version: All current versions bundled with Tomcat 9.x
Target: Apache Tomcat 10.x

Resolution

Broadcom R&D is currently working on a future release of iDash that will bundle Apache Tomcat 10.

Estimated Timeline: The new iDash release is anticipated in the second half of 2026.
Interim Options: While a bundled version is not yet available, customers who require Tomcat 10 immediately for security or compliance reasons may perform a manual upgrade. Please contact Broadcom Support for specific manual upgrade instructions and verification of support for your version.
